We are
great fans of this band so we went to see them play
live
at "Scruffy Murphy's" in Etobicoke (and it wasn't so Scruffy!).
The previous Monday they came to Brantford and played at the Sanderson Centre
participating in the "Brantford Downtown Jazz" program (What can I say!.....ONLY in Brantford).

They are recognized as Canada's number one traditional jazz band playing New Orleans style jazz.
They play regularly every Saturday afternoon at the Chick "N" Deli on Mount Pleasant Ave.
just south of Eglinton in Toronto.
The band formed in 1971 and began playing at the Old Brunswick House on Bloor St. West in Toronto.
Ken first saw them play in 1973 after they had moved to the restaurant below the Hydro building.
They have made over 40 albums over that time period on vinyl, tape and CD.
